Boutique Fingerless Gloves or Mittens, Free Crochet Pattern

I had in fact designed this mittens last Fall, but never found the time to test and write the final draft. Well, I am so glad I published it now. This is my first time using the Red Heart Boutique unforgettable yarn and I absolutely love it. You could make almost 2 pairs using a skein and they come in a lot of attractive colorways. I will definitely be using more of this yarn in the future. If any of you make this mittens, please share a picture with me. Since the yarn is so gorgeous I decided to name the pattern after the yarn itself. The yarn has a shiny smooth texture which is not captured in the photographs. The pattern is written to make a pair of seamless gloves. I hope you will give this lovely pattern a try.

1. One skein of Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable in color Parrot
2. Hook – H (5 mm)

Audrey Newsboy Hat Crochet Pattern, Baby to Woman

I love how this hat turned out. I am head over heels in love with the stitch pattern as well as the little details that make this hat oh so classy. I ordered a bunch of metal buttons to use with my projects and I couldn't be more happy. The hats look adorable on the little models and I am sure you will love it too. You can stop at the brim and keep it as a Beanie or add the visor and turn it into a Newsboy hat. The Newsboy  is my personal favorite and I think it looks very elegant. The fluorescent orange hat was made by my 10 year old and she was elated to see it modeled. Her work is so neat, I am a proud mama. Another designer in the family, may be :).

* The pattern is written in Standard American terms.

* The pattern includes hats in  sizes 6-12 months. 1-3 years, 3-10 years and Preteen to Woman

* The pattern uses Hooks I(5.5 mm) and  H( 5 mm).

*Pattern uses Worsted weight yarn (size 4). I used Lionbrand Wool Ease for gauge.
